Stuttgart, Germany : In a joint press release, the Stuttgart public prosecutor and the Reutlingen police headquarters announced that a 23-year-old Nigerian national was arrested on Friday and charged with assault and attempted manslaughter with dangerous bodily injury for trying to push a 27-year-old woman on the train station in Wendlingen in front of an arriving S-Bahn.

For no apparent reason, the 23-year-old is said to have become aggressive at seven o’clock on the platform to people waiting there, according to the findings to date.

The two women were only slightly injured in the attacks.

The accused was presented on Friday afternoon with the request of the Stuttgart Public Prosecutor’s Office on the issue of a warrant to the competent judge.
