(PHOTO) PHILIPPINES Arrest NIGERIAN, 5 Others For Rape, Drugs, Assault. SIX men were arrested, including a Nigerian who went wild and punched in the face a co-passenger of a passenger bus for unclear reason, in separate police operations yesterday in Pateros, Parañaque and Las Piñas cities.
Arrested were Jonathan Molito, 28, single, photocopy operator; Leandro Dagami, 37, a system operator; both of Lopez Compound; Daniel Fajardo, all of Las Piñas City; James Jarabe, of Parañaque City; Joed Lim, 27, of Bgy. Santa, Pateros; Gogo Luke Smith, 31, Nigerian, of Bacoor, Cavite.
Police said Molito, Dagami and Fajardo were arrested for drug pushing following a 12 p.m. buy-bust operation after one week of surveillance operation. Reports said two plastic sachet containing suspected shabu were recovered from the suspects.
In Parañaque, at 12:45 p.m., Chief Insp. Joselito Narag Jr., chief of Regional Police Intelligence Operation Unit of National Capital Region Police Office (RPIOU, NCRPO), said Jarabe was arrested on Sucat Road, Parañaque City.
Jarabe was arrested by virtue of a warrant for rape issued by Judge Recto A. Calabocal, of Regional Trial Court Branch 42, of Pinamalayan, Oriental, Mindoro. Jarabe was detained at NCRPO jail facility. At 4:45 p.m., Pateros police arrested Joed Lim, 27, of Bgy. Santa. Lim, tagged as the no. 5 most wanted person in Pateros, was arrested by virtue of warrant for qualified rape issued by Pateros Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 262.
In Las Piñas, police arrested Smith for attacking and punching in the face Do-minador Portis for unclear reason while they were on board a passenger bus bound for Cavite.
Police said the incident took place at 8:30 p.m. while the passenger bus was traversing Alabang-Zapote Road, Bgy. Pamplona.
Reports said the suspect suddenly went wild for no apparent reason and punched Portis.
A police mobile patrol chanced upon the commotion inside the bus and arrested the suspect
