(PHOTO) NIGERIAN Prince Gets 4 Yrs In UK For £7M 419 DUBAI Scam. A lonely heart looking for love on Plenty of Fish got her revenge on the fraudster who scammed her for £100,000 by setting up a police sting. She handed over cash, sold jewellery, took out a bank loan and borrowed from a friend supposedly to unlock a £7million inheritance in Dubai. Nigerians are among the most educated, hardworking and successful foreigners wherever they live across the globe. Unfortunately, it is the actions of a few that create all the bad press for Nigeria wherein any mention of Nigeria brings up images of Medicare fraud, Nigerian prince, advance fee fraud, credit card fraud, 419, Yahoo Yahoo, pirates,  .

Lynn Hawes was targeted in a ‘planned, complicated, sophisticated and systematic’ sting over almost 18 months. During that time Mrs Hawes fell in love with one of the conmen, who then disappeared, and had an intimate relationship with another, Ajibola Daudu.

But when she became suspicious of Daudu and spoke to police, she set up a meeting and officers arrested him.

Daudu, 43, of Purfleet, Essax, pleaded guilty to one count of fraud at Chester Crown Court and was jailed by Judge Nicolas Woodward for three years and nine months yesterday.

Judge Nicolas Woodward told a sobbing Daudu that he’d carried out a ‘deliberate and shameless betrayal’. Two other men involved in the scam remain at large.

When she finally accepted she was being conned, Mrs Hawes bravely strung Daudu along for two months and engineered the meeting at which police arrested him.

A Nigerian who claims to be a prince will spend the next seven years in a UK jail after a court found him guilty of grooming underage girls for sax.27-year-old Taheeb Udusole, according to reports, pretended to be the rich son of an African king while grooming his two victims aged 14 and 15 years.

The Snaresbrook Crown Court was told how the unemployed Nigerian met the girls on social media, lied that he was 17 years old son of an African king, offered them gifts and money and sent taxis to collect them so they could visit him.

The taxi would deliver his victims to an address near to his east London home so they would never know where he actually lived.

Both the victims, who did not know each other, believed that ‘Taheeb’ was their boyfriend and came forward with allegations separately, the Met Police’s Child Saxual Exploitation Team said.

Udusole pleaded guilty to three counts of saxual activity with two girls aged 14 and 15. He will be deported after his sentence.

“Taheeb Udusole is a predator who claimed that he believed the girls were adult because neither arrived in school uniform. Both girls had told Udusole their age and he continued to force them to have sax regardless,” Detective Sergeant Laura Hillier, the investigating officer, said.

“Unaware that they were victims, these girls have gone through a traumatic experience and should be proud of the strength of character they have shown during the investigation and approaching trial. I hope that today’s sentence brings them a measure of comfort and closure and that they can move on with their lives.

“We cannot be certain that there are not more victims who have suffered from the actions of this man who have not yet come forward. I would urge anyone who has been a victim to contact police immediately by dialing 101.”
