Nigerian Man Sings CANNABIS Blues To Police In India

Calangute, India. A Nigerian national identified as Emmanuel Chinedu was arrested on Friday in Goa’s Calangute, India while selling narcotics substance. According to Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi he and a staff was on patrol when they noticed the Nigerian driving a scooter. Jivba Dalvi alerted the staff along with him and tried to nab the suspect. However, the accused Nigerian tried to escape from the spot but the police managed to apprehend him.

The accused confessed to be selling drugs and was found in possession of 29 grams of Cannabis (Ganja, Marijuana, Indian Hemp). The scooter bearing number GA 03 Q 6520 was also seized by the police.

Calangute Police also raided his apartment located at Morjim, Pernem and discovered that he has no valid visa. A report is sent to Pernem police station for necessary action under the provisions of Foreigners Act.

Also a report was sent against the owner of Jasmine Beach Resort Morjim for not filling up the C form of the foreign national.

“Any person involved in drugs will not be spared and strict action will be taken for possession of drugs.” said Inspector Dalvi.

There are so many different names for cannabis accross the world. These include marijuana, ganja, indian hemp, skunk, joint, dope, pot, weed, loco weed, mota, mezzerola, waokag tobacca, eefer, grass, igbo, doobie, waokag, tobacca etc.
