by Samuel Abasi Last updated on April 13th, 2017,

President Edgar Lungu appointed Honourable Kampamba Mulenga, MP, as minister of Information and Broadcasting Services in November 2016, taking over from Honourable Chishimba Kambwili, MP. Kambwili was fired following a corruption scandal.

However since her appointment, her past as a sax worker has continued to dodge her.

The Zimbabwe Minister of Information, Kampamba Mulenga has called on citizens of the country to ignore her past when she was into prostitution.

Mulenga said she should be judged on her present and future life as she is now a changed person.

The minister who spoke in Livingstone said she was deeply saddened by some Zambians who still refer to her past of being “a sax worker” when making reference to her.

She told Patriotic Front news senior officials in Livingstone, “I am a changed person who deserve to be welcomed and accepted in the society.” She insists she stop working as a sax worker after she was appointed minister.

Before she joined politics and emerged as a minister, Ms Kampamba Mulenga was a well known sax worker on the Copperbelt.

  1. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and appearance. I must say you’ve done a excellent job with this. In addition, the blog loads very quick for me on Chrome. Outstanding Blog!

  2. great put up, very informative. I’m wondering why the opposite experts of this sector do not notice this. You must continue your writing. I am sure, you’ve a great readers’ base already!
