Emir of Jema’a escapes death, as youth attack his convoy

Emir of Jema’a Alhaji Muhammad Isa Muhammad on Tuesday night narrowly escaped death as some unidentified hoodlums attacked his convoy at Samarun Kataf in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Southern Kaduna.
The Emir was on his way back to Kafanchan after attending State Security Council meeting chaired by the state Governor Nasir El’rufai at the state house Kaduna.

According to sources in the palace told people’s daily on phone that the incident occurred around 8:pm.
He explained that the Emir escaped on harm but vehicles on his convoy were badly damaged by the youths.

“The emir was attacked at samarun kataf on his way from kaduna. Un identified youths blocked the road and wanted to lynch the emir but the escort in the convoy fired to disperse the attackers and in the interval the convoy turned and took a different route. Most of the cars in the emir’s convoy were damaged, “he said.

Meanwhile, the State Government has restored the 24-hour curfew in Zangon-Kataf local government area.
